TriStar Experience’s L1011 has arrived at Kansas City (KMCI) International Airport on July 15th to much fanfare. Significant media presence along with invited guests welcomed the safe arrival just before 8:30 pm on Saturday, July 15th. Those not able to be present watched via Facebook Live as broadcast by Johnny Rowlands piloting the KMBC TV 9 News Helicopter. Some 66k people from all over the world watched via the Facebook live broadcast.
Now that N910TE has arrived at MCI, the TriStar team will begin making modifications and readying the aircraft for its new role in STEM (Science, Engineering, Math, Technology) Education. Kids will be encouraged to explore the world of aviation, all with onboard one of the most iconic and impressive aircraft in history! For those that have seen this aircraft in person, the excitement and enthusiasm has grown exponentially exceeding our expectations.
